Integration Bridge works between GPSFO, Siebel MME or Siebel enterprise and Microsoft Great Plains on Microsoft SQL Server or MSDE. Which screens and fields does Integration Bridge support? Will it process my extensions to Front Office? Integration bridge supports all the Front Office fields on each of the business components relevant for the information being integrated. Any extensions to the Front Office business components are therefore accessible to the Integration Bridge. Which versions does Integration Bridge support? Integration Bridge supports integration as follows: Siebel 6.2.3 <-> Microsoft Great Plains 6 How much is Integration Bridge? Integration Bridge, and the associated consulting as shown in the pricelist is free to Partners and Customers when ordered for GPSFO customers wanting integration with Microsoft Great Plains. For all other customers please contact your local sales office for the latest pricing information. If Integration Bridge is free, what about the enhancement plan? The first years enhancement plan is part of the free deal, the second and subsequent years enhancement plan is subject to our standard 20% of list price. How do I order Integration Bridge? For an order form please contact your local sales office. Will the enhancement plan cover future versions ? Nolan Computers will endeavor to make Integration Bridge available for the latest Siebel and Microsoft Great Plains versions as fast as we can produce them. Provided customers remain current on their enhancement plans, this will be available as part of the plan.
What hardware configuration do you recommend? The most successful Integration Bridge installations use a separate machine to run the Bridge itself, with an emphasis on high network performance. This is on account of the potentially large date volumes being integrated. What software configuration is required? OLE Automation for GPSFO/Siebel is required. If HotLinks functionality is desired, Scripting and GPSFO/Siebel Tools will also be required. What other third party software is needed? No additional software is required. How quick is Integration Bridge? Will it process 6000 orders in three hours? The performance of Integration Bridge is largely dependant on the hardware and network configuration and also on the size of the datasets being integrated. The frequency that any master data is updated can have a large impact on Integration performance, for example updating an entire product catalogue will cause, in turn the product catalogue to be integrated. here and are happy to act as a reference site. Can I change the default configuration or is the data integration predefined? Yes the configuration can be changed, this is in large part why consulting is so necessary for the installation of Integration Bridge. Can I pick which records are processed? Yes. It is possible to refine the selection of records to integrate as part of the set-up process. Does Integration Bridge use Active Directory or message queues ? No, Integration Bridge does not need Active Directory and does not use any external message queuing. It maintains it's own internal queuing mechanism.
